Min-hwan sees this exchange and tells Ji-won that he is now sure that Ji-hyeok has feelings for her. Ji-won denies this and tells him that Ji-hyeok has a girlfriend to which Min-hwan tells her that men are cheaters and that even if he had a wife he would hold feelings for Ji-won. Ji-won is amused by this statement and asks him if he too is like the men he has just described.

Min-hwan denies this and tells her that he is the only one who is different which only makes Ji-won laugh. Right then, Yu-ran and Hee-yeon arrive and take Ji-won with them to discuss the meal-kit project. However, Su-min interrupts them and Kyung-wook arrives to send Ji-won on a menial task.

Ji-won finishes it and comes back to see Su-min waiting for her as she had expected, and Su-min wastes no time in talking about her meal-kit project. However, Ji-won refuses to have her take part in it after which Kyung-wook calls her and tells her that he will be taking over the project with Su-min working alongside him.

Ji-won is unable to say anything and is disheartened when she comes across Ji-hyeok who asks her out for a meal after work. Ji-won refuses his request as she has plans with Eun-ho. Later, Ji-won meets Eun-ho and the two sit for some wine tasting as Eun-ho shows what he has in store.

After a few light-hearted talks, Ji-won asks him about the letter that made him stop talking to her. Eun-ho takes it out and Ji-won realises that Su-min can copy her handwriting which makes her freeze. Elsewhere, Min-hwan is trying to reach Ji-won but fails, so he calls Su-min and finds out that Ji-won has gone out with someone else.

Su-min then subtly lets out that Ji-won’s mother had cheated on her father which leaves Min-hwan thinking that Ji-won would do the same. Meanwhile, Ji-won and Eun-ho make a move to leave, however, Ji-won understands Eun-ho’s feelings for her and makes it clear that she has a boyfriend and nothing can happen between them.

Eun-ho is saddened by this and asks if Ji-hyeok is her boyfriend as he was the one who told him about the reunion. This surprised Ji-won and left her wondering how Ji-hyeok knew about the reunion; unaware that Ji-hyeok had seen the two from afar. Ji-hyeok cannot stop thinking about Ji-won being with Eun-ho and makes a detour from halfway home.

Meanwhile, Ji-won is walking home when she suspects someone following her, only to be surprised when Min-hwan pops out of nowhere in front of her. He tells her that it was fun making her scared which angers Ji-won. He then starts commenting on her having dressed up and speaks of how the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Marry My Husband Episode 5 Ending

Ji-won is angered by the last comment but understands that Su-min must have told him about her mother. She tries to deny his comments but Min-hwan is not ready to listen to her and hurts her while holding her hand. Right then, Ji-hyeok arrives and teaches him a lesson which makes Min-hwan run away in fright.

He then takes Ji-won to calm down and asks if Ji-won’s hand is alright. However, these words trigger Ji-won as she thinks that Ji-hyeok is trying to cheat on Hee-yeon with her and confronts Ji-hyeok about the same. Ji-hyeok is surprised by this and tells her to listen to him for a moment.

He then calls Hee-yeon and proves to Ji-won that Hee-yeon is his sister which leaves Ji-won surprised as she apologises for her behaviour. Ji-hyeok laughs it off and tells her that she was right about one thing- he does have feelings for her.

Ji-hyeok then takes Ji-won home, however, he falls unconscious on her right in front of her house and surprises Ji-won.

The confession is finally here and we now see the beginning of Ji-won’s happiness that brought her and Ji-hyeok another chance in life. The two have got their makeovers and now it is time to fall in love and make us burn with their green-flag behaviours.

Meanwhile, the antagonist couple is now to embark on their cheating behaviour and we are ready to see Ji-won escape their clutches and get rid of her ill fate. However, Ji-won needs a change in her weak character that is still bending in front of Hyung-wook, and I believe we’ll see this happening very soon.
